WRITER·DIRECTOR·PRODUCER
Betty Lee Kim's previous short film, "Yasin," screened at festivals around the world, including Berlin, Dubai, Palm Springs, and others. After receiving her MFA from USC in 2007, where she received the 2006 James Bridges Scholarship for excellence in directing, Betty participated in Film Independent's Project:Involve talent development program as a 2008 fellow. She is currently developing a feature script, Hunter-Painters in the Post-Industrial Age, about the NYC art scene in the 1980s.

PRODUCER
Desiray R. McFall, an Oakland native and Bay Area filmmaker, is the owner of Black Patent Productions, a production company created to bring the works of women to the public. Black Patent's goal is to provide opportunities for working actors to grow through art while providing entertainment and cultural enrichment to the community. A writer, director, and producer, Desiray's two latest short films, "Corners Dilemma" and "The Best Way Out," are now in post production.

PRODUCER
Jessica Polim, a Los Angeles-based writer, director, and producer, received the Best Music Video Award for "Flowers" at the Illinois International Film Festival in 2009. As a London native of French-Chinese descent, Jessica has imbued her work with an interplay of culturally diverse sensibilities and Hollywood aesthetics for over five years. Having directed a host of short films, Jessica is now developing two feature-length thrillers and an animated pilot set in an enchanted, Eden-like world. She received her MFA in film production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts in 2008.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
John Harrison's recently lensed film "Kavi" was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short in 2010. This honor comes at the heels of numerous awards and prestige screenings for Harrison's projects, including the Academy Award for Best Student Film two years in a row (2008 and 2009). As a graduate student at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, John was awarded the 2007 Thomas Bush Award for excellence in cinematography. He graduated in 2008 with an MFA in film production. John currently lives in Seattle with his wife, Jen.

PRODUCTION DESIGNER
Heidi Boucher has been involved in film, television, and theater for over 20 years in California and Oregon. After beginning her career in Sacramento at PBS in set and graphic design, she subsequently worked in television, theatre, and film as an Oregon-based art director and set decorator. Since returning to California in 2000, she has worked as a production designer on numerous award-winning feature films, shorts, music videos, commercials, broadcast television shows, and stage productions.

COMPOSER
Ritsu Katsumata is a classically trained violinist who began performing in concert halls at the age of ten. Freely cross-breeding genres and styles, Ritsu's soundscapes reference baroque, classical, pop-rock, and postmodern music with equal abandon. Currently Ritsu writes, performs, and scores music for videos, films, and dance while making a living as a multimedia designer in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
